AN ASKING PRICE ISN’T ALWAYS THE BEST WAY TO MARKET A PROPERTY

We all assume that when selling a property, you have to have an ‘asking price’. Well, in some cases, it’s not actually the best approach.

There are lots of ways to market a property for sale:

  • An asking price
  • A guide price
  • No price at all
  • An offers in excess of price
  • A fixed price
  • By tender
  • By sealed bids

Which approach you take will depend on your property so don’t assume an asking price is the best way.

Also, the way buyers search for a property has changed a lot over the years which will also have a big impact on the way your property should be marketed.

If you like, I would be more than happy to take a look at your property and let you know how I think it should be marketed. Just call me on 01737 246 777 or contact me here

All the best,
